Pet Aftercare
After your pet has quietly passed away, we can handle all the unique procedures, including transport, cremation, and other matters, for you.
We frequently consider our dogs to be members of the family when speaking of them. All throughout their lives, we have loved and cared for them, and we want to do everything we can to make their final days as comfortable as possible. Planning ahead for your pet’s care is essential if you’re close to their passing. Here are some suggestions for simplifying the procedure as much as feasible.
Pet Cremation Options
Your veterinarian will go over the cremation options and how to pay for the crematory services when it is time for your scheduled euthanasia visit. For body care and cremation services, we collaborate with and have faith in Four Paws crematory. During this trying moment, our team will take care of providing transportation to the cremation facility, relieving you of that load.
There are three types of cremation services that are available:
- Private Cremation: In the crematorium, just your pet will be discreetly cremated.
- Individual Cremation: Your pet is placed in the crematorium alongside other animals, but is separated from them at a suitable distance to allow for the repatriation of their ashes. Ashs might just barely cross over.
- Communal Cremation: Your pet is cremated among several other animals. We won’t be able to return your pet’s ashes in this situation.
We partnered with Four Paws Crematory. Please visit their website for further details.
Pet Memorial Products
While our cherished pets will always be in our hearts, each of us has a unique method of memorializing our lost friends, whether it be through photos, keepsakes, or unique pet urns. You will be given a choice of complimentary urns by your veterinarian.
Home Burial
We advise you to inquire about the laws and legitimacy of home burial with your neighborhood city or county. We also advise you to prepare the burial location and make it at least 4 1/2 to 5 feet deep. During our visit, our veterinarian will walk you through this. You will have more time to remember and honor your pet at the moment of euthanasia if the burial place has been arranged in advance.
